Based in Brighton, UK, Michelle started Bags of Difference to fill the needs of sewists for competitively priced, good quality bag making hardware. The products flooding in from the far east vary in quality greatly and Michelle prides herself on obtaining the right products for her ever growing client base. As a committed sewist, she understands the needs of the customers and delivers on price and quality.

The expanding catalogue of Bags of Difference delivers a core range of permanent stock that we believe cannot be beaten. Added to this is a range of specials, goods that catch Michelle’s eye in her constant search for exceptional items.

Our extensive range of hardware includes everything you need to make a professional looking bag, of any style. In our connectors range we stock D rings, rectangles, squares in 38mm, 25mm, 20mm and 15mm sizes. We have triangles in 25mm which are perfect to stop any strap twisting. To compliment these we have swivel, lobster and snap hooks in the same sizes.

If you require something a bit different we have strap anchors in various sizes and finishes including Long John’s and diamonds, twists and many more in our specials range. It does not stop there we have strap keepers strap ends and zipper ends to give a smart finish. Turn Locks and thumb locks are always in stock with neat little ovals in our basic range plus loads of special such as bees, stags and birds.

We have items that will ‘bling’ up your bag and add those all important finishing touches, metal handmade and handcrafted labels and tags, tassel caps, key fobs, and zipper pulls in #5 and #3. Our hardware comes in silver/nickel, gun metal/black, light gold. Antique brass/brushed bronze, rose gold/copper, and rainbow/iridescent finishes. Added to all of this we have continuous zippers in #5 and #3 with nylon teeth and an ever changing range of more specialist zipper tapes in resin teeth, nylon teeth and rainbow teeth. In short whatever you want to have a fun hobby or a business making bags we supply it.

Also on the team are Dom and Huw. Dom is an experienced photographer who understands the need to show our products in a way that showcases their potential to the maximum.

Huw is a hanger on who we can’t seem to shake off :-)
